Your Board is fully committed to maintaining high standards of corporate governance to safeguard and promote the interests of the shareholders and to enhance the long term value of the Group. To this end, it has adopted a set of Corporate Governance Guidelines to govern its conduct within the spirit of the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (“Code”) and the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities. The Board has approved this statement and is of the opinion that it has, in all material respects, complied with the principles and best practices outlined in the Code for the financial year ended 31 January 2008.
